This Currie 9-Plus housing features a new, high-strength, American-made housing with 3-inch diameter axle tubes and CNC machined face flange for a flat leak-free seal - all joined together with strong, attractive welds.
Heavy-duty 1/4" trailing arm pads are installed in the OEM locations for bolt-in compatibility with the stock OE locations along with
billet late model Ford Torino large bearing housing ends that are CNC machined for accuracy and feature provisions for internal or external axle oil seals.
Currie Performance 31-spline 1541 alloy axles, feature vehicle correct bolt pattern and wheel studs and include Timken axle bearings shipped loose while f
ull-circle heavy-duty retainers assure positive bearing retention and full seal engagement for a long trouble-free and leak-free service life.
This housing requires the CPP's Deluxe (trailing arm mounted) Trac Bar, which is included and the rear end
is built to the stock overall drum width and pinion offset specifications. The included CPP Deluxe Trac Bar bolts to the trailing arm and its longer length means there is less side to side movement as the suspension travels, resulting in better tracking and overall handling. It will bolt to factory or aftermarket trailing arms and to the factory frame mount.
