Offering what I believe to be a Chicago World Fair Deco Commemorative Sculpture Antique Firehose Nozzle Lantern recognizing the great heroism of those in the Chicago Fire and the rebirth and rebuild afterwards.
This sculpture is brass and copper with a nice patina. Faucet nozzle is in the shape of hearts and the bottom portion is representative of the lantern that was kicked over by Ms. Leary’s cow. What a great piece of history and a fabulous gift to recognize the importance of that fireman in your life.
Significant makers mark on bottom, but I have been unsuccessful in determining the manufacturing company.
Dimensions: approximately 12 1/4” tall bu 6 1/4” in diameter. Nice size for that library or office desk.
