German Regimental Military Beer Stein 3 Garde Regt zu Fuss Berlin 1904-06

We have a Regimental that belonged to Reservist Gottsehe. This 1/2L 11 1/8” tall porcelain stein was made for the 8. Comp. 3. Garde Regt zu Fuss Berlin Germany from 1904 to 1906.
The scenes include many Infantry training. The large seated soldier finial and lid is made from pewter. There is a lithophane in the bottom of a soldier saying farewell to his girlfriend that can be seen when the beer stein has been emptied. The stein has a chip repair on the base in the back. The black color is worn and looks faded. This stein is a very rare stein and would be a great addition to any advanced collectors collection.
