Description
This saddle is a very unique and maybe on of a kind, was told it was a endurance type race saddle made in 5he 1900's by Hamley and Company Pendleton Oregon, stamped special G 876, has kind of a wire type form fitted frame that goes around the belly of the horse, the wire frame is fastened to the leather with rawhide lace which is is in pour condition and is broke in a few spots, is very lite weight with a 12" seat, and a quick change type rigging, this saddle would make a nice wall hanger or in a museum some wear should be in Hamley and company show room, the horn is a very odd lite wait metal doesn't seem to be aluminum but maybe magnesium or pewtor maybe, never seen anything like it before, could use some cleaning and conditioning,
