This interesting little catalog is a price list update to the N. Porter Catalog No.  18, as well as new items in a small imbedded Catalog No. 19.  The company evidently didn't  create a new full catalog for 1931.   The No. 18 catalog was published in the fall of 1930 and the company had reduced  prices (probably as a result of the stock market crash and the onset of the  great depression).
Stating that it was "impossible to make any  further reduction without reducing the quality of our saddles", the company sent  out this revision in prices for all items in the No. 18 catalog which  experienced an increase.  The catalog new items in the section they call  Catalog No. 19 which starts on page 17.
