ORIG 1901 PAN AMERICAN EXPO - HANDMADE PERSONAL CALLING CARD - ON THICK STOCK

Lot Consists of an Original, 1901 PAN AMERICAN Exposition, Hand Engraved - Calling / Advertising Card. This hand made card was done for a customer / participant at the fair in 1901. Single sided, hand etched / engraved on 1/16" thick card has the name: "Susan Agnes Berry" and "P.A.E. - Buffalo 1901" in the waves of a ribbon. Card was either then hand colored in white to highlight the work or the card is layered and when etched, the white came thru. (Not visible from sides). Definitely a unique, hand made piece, probably from a vendor at the fair. We are positive that not many, if any others survived, and it's unique to this person.
Black, 1/16" thick, cardstock calling card is approx. 2" high x 3-3/8" wide. Card has only light signs of handling on edges and corners. Engraving / etching is clear and white is bright. Card has been flat stored away for a very long time. Great piece of 1901 World's Fair / Exposition Memorabilia / U.S. Postal History. See Pics for More Details on Condition.
