    Lot Consists of a Great, Original,
    1901 PAN AMERICAN EXPOSITION - 1/4 Plate Tintype featuring (5) five family members and (2) two friends of the prominent New York State family, Mosher. Tintype features Ten Eyck T. Mosher Jr. and family. Tintype comes housed in the original paper holder from the exposition and has original, black ink signatures, of all (7) persons identified. Holder has rubber stamped 1901 Pan American Buffalo image and an applied stamp featuring the Liberal Arts Building at the expo. Lot comes with a ruled index card with handwritten text by family member, explaining who the persons pictured are and their relationship to the recipient of the piece. If you are a New York State Historian, this is a great piece of Upstate - Buffalo - Albany New York area family history. The Mosher family including Ten Eyck T. Sr. were very big in real estate in the late 1800's thru mid 1900's and his family appears practically everywhere you read about Upstate New York from real estate to land donations.
    Holder is approx. 4-7/8" high x 3-1/2" wide folded and approx. 7" wide when opened. Tintype is 1/4 plate. (We did not attempt to remove image from holder and it will come to you in same un-removed condition). Holder has some associated wear from storage, along with some old staining.
