Lot Consists of a Vintage Original, c1901 - "SPECIAL DELIVERY" Envelope,
Handmade From a Sheet of Ruled Paper
with a Cancelled Scott #297 - Pan American Bridge at Niagara Falls - 5 Cent Stamp and a 1901 Pan American Exposition Cinderella - (Featuring a Flag Draped Buffalo), Both Affixed. Cover Also Has a Round - "LODI - APR 23 - N.Y.) - and a - "PAID 5" - Hand Stamp, Along With (3) Block Letter - "SPECIAL" - Black Stampings, Cancelling the Stamp and The Cinderella. It Appears That The Folded Cover Was Part of a Letter To The Recipient in Troy N.Y., But The Letter Portion Has Long Since Been Removed, Leaving The Cover Otherwise Intact.

Folded Envelope is approx. 3" high x 5-3/16" wide and approx. 7-1/2" high x 7-13/16" wide when unfolded. There is what appears to be the remnants of a red wax seal  / adhesive on rear inside folded line, see pics. There is some spotting on edges and overall toning to paper. Sold As-Is.
Cover comes as pictured, has not been
cleaned or otherwise adjusted in any way, left up to new owner to decide to do.... or not......
