Seam Ripper - Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics

This is a vintage seam ripper which was distributed by Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics as part of a promotion for her speed reading course. I don't know what year this was made, but I do recall the ads for the course, which aired on TV in the late 1970s.
It's very likely my mother was given this as part of a promotion. She was an expert sewer, so an item like this would most likely be a part of her sewing tools, especially one that had an advertisement on it.
It has very little wear on it. There's some scuff marks, most likely from being in a sewing kit, but my mom had so many seam rippers it's difficult to say whether she used this one or not.
I tested it works effortlessly.
