here is a nice original well used and combat worn 5th grp nam era govt beret.  as you can see this beret has been there and seen action. very well used and salty with lots of sweat and soiling.  this is a govt beret with the 2 black vent grommets and leather reinforcment tab. also you can barely the the white govt ink stampings/markings.  this beret shows much wear and has a few tears around the sweat band and wear the cut edge 5th grp flash is sewn on.  this is the only flash that has been on this beret and the flash has been on the beret since day 1.  i have tried to take pictures of all the bad spots in the beret.  when i obtained this beret there was a montgard bracelet with the beret.
if you want mint items. this beret is not for you!!!  if you like original combat worn salty items then this beret is perfect for your collection.
