Description
This is a really cool Vietnam War era US Nay squadron ballcap from VT-21 which at that time was the Navy’s training squadron for the A-4 Skyhawk aircraft, the VT-21 aircraft being the TA-4J Skyhawk. The hat is embroidered as to the squadron info, and the back of the hat says CO so this one obviously belonged to the commanding officer at one time. The VT-21 patch is a separately applied patch versus being embroidered on. The hat is used and shows that, especially where the bill is sewn on. I found it with the bubble wrap inside the crown to keep its shape, so you will receive it like that. Sorry, no idea which CO this belonged to, but I bet with some net sleuthing one might be able to figure it out. The hat surfaced in Iowa. Nice item all around and it will display well. It is old and used and shows very typical age and use and storage and handling wear. Please contact me with any questions the pics do not answer.FREE SHIPPING IN THE USA! PAYMENT REQUIRED WITHIN 5 DAYS OF AUCTION END OR I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SIMPLY RELIST OR SELL THE ITEM TO A PAYING BUYER. Thanks!
