Vintage Antique CHICAGO FIRE DEPT Fire Insurance Patrol 3 & 4 Medical Cabinet

This item is a steel medical supply wall cabinet that belonged to the dept's Fire Insurance Patrol 3 & 4 units on the south side of the city back in probably the 1940's-1950's.  In it is a small stretcher and blanket, the rest of the contents which appeared to be gauze bandages had turned to dust.  This is a great piece of not only Chicago Fire Dept. history, but that of the elite Fire Insurance patrol squads all the way back to the 1920's until they were decommissioned in the very late 50's.    **Please note, this item is steel, with a weight of about 50 lbs, thus the shipping charge to you being shown on your screen.   ALSO....paypal is still accepted & preferred, & is MUCH easier & faster than this new ebay system.  Your item will be shipped & arrive about 5 days sooner when paid for by paypal due to ebay's clearing-house nonsense.
