    Description

I am auctioning off my 50-year-old
collectible white porcelain coffee mug of the
Boy Scouts of America, marked around a colorful drawing of a prospector and his mule, the words, "I Staked My Claim, G.N.F.C. -- B.S.A." GNFC stands for Greater Niagara Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The mug has the classic gold ring around the top so popular with the Boy Scouts in the late 1960s and 1970s.
This mug has a weighted bottom, and measures 3.25 inches tall, 3.5 inches in diameter, and weighs 10 ounces. It has an easy-to-grasp handle, and holds about 10 ounces of coffee.
This mug is in great condition, with a fresh bright four-color logo, yellow, red, green, and black, as well as the gold ring. The prospector has his mule loaded down. The Greater Niagara Frontier Council is based in Buffalo, New York.
The mug is is in great shape, with no chips, cracks, or missing porcelain. Your best guide to condition is the set of large, high-resolution, pictures I've included with this listing. Most of my mug collection is up for auction along with this one, one of the most colorful.
If you decide to bid, good luck! If you win the auction, I'll pack your mug carefully and ship it to you via USPS the day after payment.
